Moodle your way!
It's good to be back again here with some useful info.
Well, this post is about something interesting called 'MOODLE'. We have heard about Google Doodle, but what on earth is the so-called MOODLE thingy.
MOODLE-A Creative way to learn!!
MOODLE actually stands for 'Modular Object Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment'.
It is an open-source, e-learning environment that was developed by Martin Dougiamas written under PHP scripting language. It provides a platform for educationalists to create course based websites so that it is possible for them to have interactive sessions.
A very good initiative, I would say. This also goes by the names Learning Management System,Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
It provides a software so that is easy to develop one such Learning environment. Several institutions are using this to create websites on their own so that they could convey useful information to students out there across their domain or locality. Some features that have made this very interesting are Online quiz,Wiki,Discussion forum,Files download etc.
The actual process begins the very conventional way.i.e.logging onto the Moodle Website
https://moodle.org/
And as usual by creating an account. Then, it'll be a jiffy.
You can even download the standard moodle packages from their 'Downloads' packages.
The recent version package is Moodle 2.4.2+.
Well, why waiting...If you have the idea.. then MOODLE your way..
